Practical Matters

Our vision

A future where people with hidden/invisible conditions are empowered to lead independent lives.

Our mission

To provide accurate and accessible support to enable participants to learn how to budget and develop employment skills to enable them to live a more independent life.

We provide bespoke one-to-one support for those with neurodiverse conditions who are looking to move towards employment.  We also teach people how to budget and ensure that they are accessing all benefits for their situation.  These services are free.

We can:

  • Create a realistic action plan of what to cover
  • Create a new CV/ update old one
  • Teach how and where to look for jobs or voluntary work
  • Support with volunteering and job applications
  • Learn & practise interview skills especially harder questions
  • Teach how to make a realistic budget
  • Identify additional potential income
  • Help to find appropriate support for the situation and provide a soft hand-over

To continue supporting people with neurodiverse conditions we offer employers training that covers:

  • Various types of neurodiverse conditions
  • How to make job adverts accessible
  • Reasonable adjustments at interviews and in the workplace
  • Access to Work

We can provide recruitment services, including DBS checks, and have consultancy packages to support employers in their journey to become more inclusive.

Please note that there is a charge for our employers support, which is used to provide our other services.
