About organisation: Building a confident canine community through expert advice, local outreach and community events such as the Woof Wag Festival, alongside our affordable online hub offering 500+ positive activities and training resources. We provide fun education to strengthen the bond between human and dog.
We are a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Kettering, dedicated to Building a Confident Canine Community. Our mission focuses on strengthening the relationship between humans and their dogs through force-free, positive reinforcement techniques.
We are deeply rooted in local outreach, aiming to make expert canine advice accessible to everyone. As part of this we visit local educational settings and community groups, we also organise local dog events with the biggest one being our yearly Woof Wag Festival at Wicksteed Park in the Spring.
We aim to provide education on dog needs and behaviours to help reduce owner frustration and prevent dogs from being surrendered to rescue centres. As part of this, we have an online hub with over 500 activities (including dog training) which is made affordable with a small one-off cost for a full year’s access. This helps to ensure that financial constraints don't prevent dogs from receiving quality care and training, and it supports all family members to build strong bonds with their dog.
When we partake in local events with our stand, we talk to visitors and offer dog related advice. Further, we often run some dog enrichment activities to show people how to engage with their dog in a fun manner. These activities are free and form part of our outreach in the local community.
