About organisation: RJ Community CIC is a Community Interest Company established to deliver Deaf community services for public benefit.
We support Deaf, Deafblind, and people with hearing loss to access information, advocacy, training, and community activities in Deaf-accessible ways, including British Sign Language (BSL)
Mission Statement: Rj Community CIC exists to address the barriers Deaf people face in accessing information, services, education, and social opportunities. By delivering services directly in British Sign Language, we aim to improve equality, independence, and inclusion.
We provide the following to organisations wishing to become more inclusive:Training Services: BSL Levels 1, 2 & 3, Deaf awareness, plus Safeguarding training delivered in BSL.Deaf awareness training for organisations and community groups
Support for workplaces and services to become more accessible to Deaf people
BSL Interpreting Services: Delivered in partnership with Inclusive Interpreting.
Community Services: Information & Advice for Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing adults across Northamptonshire, alongside social and community events for all ages.
