Outdoor Tribe CIC delivers nature-connection activities designed to nurture
wellbeing. In addition to running inclusive sessions for adults, young people and
families, Outdoor Tribe provides Accredited training opportunities for professionals
seeking to understand how to utilise nature connection to benefit wellbeing.
Outdoor Tribe's ethos is supporting individuals to discover meaningful ways to connect with nature, being the
wellbeing pathway that leads to deeper connection and understanding of 'self'.
Established in 2016 Outdoor Tribe CIC has a track record in the delivery of wellbeing initiatives, supporting individuals along pathways to wellbeing through nature connection. We are always open to partnering with corporates in connection with ESG and CSR. Outdoor Tribe works with individuals, charities, social enterprises and corporates, delivering custom wellbeing in nature initiatives, designed to be practical in format or reflective and creative. Outdoor Tribe provides Level 2 and Level 3 Agored accredited training to professionals wishing to support, or deliver Wellbeing In Nature for their community.
For corporates, we are willing and able to support ESG requirements through provision of employee resilience programmes designed to build awareness around strategies to reduce stress levels/avoid burnout.
ESG - Social aspects Examples: (1) Woodland wellbeing days, demonstrating the two-way wellbeing model that benefits both the needs of people and nature. (2) Staff burnout prevention programme (6 x 1hr) delivered at your site over 5 weeks with an optional half or full day at the woodland to support participants to put into practice what they have learned. (3) Mindfulness in nature programmes, encouraging slowing-down and fostering of creativity through engaging with written and artistic nature-inspired 30 or 45-minute sessions (perfect for lunch-bite programmes). Delivered online.
Partnering in connection with Corporate Social Responsibility: CSR - Grant provisions. We would welcome partnering for Bursary provision to support individuals from social enterprises and charities to access accredited training to broaden the benefits they deliver to their communities. Examples: (1) A charity or social enterprise working with families and children would like to learn about practical activities they can suggest to their service-users to encourage parents to engage more with nature-connection activities. The Agored Level 2 (Supporting Wellbeing In Nature) would provide opportunity for gaining experience of practical skills and also theoretical underpinnings of wellbeing through nature connection. A bursary, to offset the total cost of £550, could be made for member organisations of NNSE, or further afield if appropriate. Outcome benefit: Empowering one person, through training can result in them empowering many more. (2) A charity or social enterprise wants to run dedicated Wellbeing In Nature programmes to support the mental and emotional wellbeing needs of their service-users. The Agored Level 3 (Wellbeing In Nature Practitioner) would provide opportunity of a member of staff to gain a qualification which would deliver much in the way of proposed programme validity, in connection with grant funding/commissioning bodies. There is also the potential for a qualified Level 3 ‘Wellbeing In Nature Practitioner’ to deliver the Level 2 ’Supporting Wellbeing In Nature’. A bursary towards the cost of £1196 would be an investment that could deliver case studies demonstrating CSR in practice. Outcome benefit: Training one person to Level 3 creates a qualified Wellbeing In Nature Practitioner who can ultimately support mental and emotional health through running social prescribing initiatives. Being a Level 3 Wellbeing In Nature Practitioner also means that they can then, potentially, train others to Level 2.
