About organisation: Kettering Arts Centre offers an amazing and unique venue for any event.
Mission Statement: To enrich lives and build community through accessible, diverse, and innovative arts programming and creative experiences that foster connection, spark joy, and inspire imagination for all who come through our doors.
Our Five Aims: • To enrich the cultural life of our community. • To provide an inclusive, diverse arts programme. • To enable all to enjoy affordable, good quality entertainment. • To create volunteering and teamwork opportunities. • To aim to achieve both financial and environmental sustainability.
History In 2011 Kettering Arts Centre was created to give the people of Kettering greater access to the Arts, at a price that was affordable for all. In 2023 the Arts Centre underwent a major redevelopment to replace the floor and staging, including making the stage accessible, adding underfloor heating and improvements to the lighting and sound systems.
Events We welcome all kinds of events from talented local bands to international performers, from theatre groups to board game conventions. We have had a brilliant roster of comedians visit us over the years, including top names such as Jack Dee, Shaparak Khorsandi, Nish Kumar, Alex Horne, Rosie Jones, Josie Long, Josh Widdecombe and Kettering’s local megastar James Acaster.
We can proudly say we continue to champion local and national artists by showcasing live music, theatre, comedy, cinema and art installations.
Accessible Venue We have ramped access to the main entrance, an accessible toilet and a looped hearing system and baby changing facilities. There are disabled parking spaces at the back of the church and can be accessed via Crown Street
