About organisation: Grow Wild Outreach is an alternative provision and outreach service supporting children, young people, and adults who benefit from learning outside of traditional classroom environments.
Mission Statement: Through nature-based, relational, and therapeutic approaches, we help individuals build confidence, resilience, and life skills while reconnecting with learning and the wider community. Our work is rooted in strong relationships, safety, and individualised support, enabling each person to progress at their own pace in meaningful and practical ways.
The three main services we provide are:
1. Outdoor Alternative Education Provision (Ages 5–16)Supporting children and young people who are struggling within traditional classroom environments through outdoor learning, nature-based activities, environmental projects and practical skill development. Our aim is to improve engagement, wellbeing, confidence and future outcomes.
2. Adult Outdoor Day Opportunities Service (18+)An alternative to traditional day services for adults with disabilities and additional needs. We support people to get outdoors, volunteer within the community, learn new skills, improve wellbeing and remain active throughout the year.
3. Supported Transition, Volunteering and Employability Programme (Ages 16–24)Supporting young people who are leaving education and still require additional support to develop independence, gain work experience, undertake volunteering opportunities and build pathways towards employment and adult life. Where appropriate, we can provide accredited learning and certification across our programmes.
We deliver these services across North Northamptonshire, West Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, using outdoor environments, community projects and environmental activities as our primary method of engagement
